Rob Schmidt is the Director of Information Technology for Hathersage.
Rob joined Hathersage with over a dozen years experience in information technologies, having founded Utopian Constructs, a consultancy that provided information technology solutions to businesses in the arts, publishing and financial sectors, in 1994.
In 1986, Rob moved to New York, to start Schmidt Bingham Gallery, a 57th Street gallery that presented contemporary American artists. In the years following, Rob has provided active support and leadership for various organizations in the arts and entertainment industry.
From 1980 until 1986, Rob was employed by Schlumberger Ltd. as an engineer providing technical services to the petroleum industry in the Middle and Far East.
Rob Schmidt attended Oriel College, Oxford, England where he read Physics and earned a BA from the University of Oxford.
